This notably includes banking applications such as Barclays Mobile Banking and fintech applications such as PayPay. Time spent in Top 10 Stock Market Watch and Trading Apps increased by 80% between the first week of January and the week of March 22-28, 2020 in the United States.

In the second quarter of 2020, the quarterly revenue of the Peloton fitness app increased by 172% from last year. The company’s earnings per share were nearly three times higher than expected. The demand for fitness apps has exploded in recent months and the revenues of companies offering a mobile offering, such as Peloton, have seen strong growth.
